Water Line Insurance

Another neighbor met with the unexpected issue of having the water line that goes from the street to his house fail.  Did you know that the line is the homeowner’s responsibility?  Repairs can run in excess of $6,000.  Homeowners insurance is unlikely to cover this expense.  However, Dominion Power does have a separate insurance that you can add to your bill for just a few dollars a month.  To contact them, call 1-866-DOM-HELP.
